Trustworthy AI decision infraestructure

Financial institutions need more than AI that can predict. They need infrastructure that turns intelligence into decisions that can be governed, explained, executed and measured.

FROM PREDICTION TO DECISION

AI can predict. Institutions still need to decide.

A model can identify a risk, score a customer or recommend an action. But an institutional decision depends on more than an output. It requires evidence, context, policy and authority, together with the ability to understand what was decided, why it was decided and what happened next.

When decisions run at scale, a wrong one is not an error. It is a loss, an operational risk and a regulatory exposure, repeated thousands of times.

Reliability is a property of the decision system, not of the model alone.

The gap between AI output and institutional decision is where trust is won or lost.

THE DECISION LAYER

We build the infrastructure between AI and institutional decisions.

Zayon combines purpose-built decision engines with the institutional context needed to turn intelligence into decisions: data, evidence, your policies and clear lines of authority. Only then do those decisions become action.

Built for financial institutions and other high-stakes environments, the Zayon decision layer takes you from AI-generated insight to decisions that can be understood, controlled, audited and acted upon — whether the signal comes from our engines or your own models.

ZAYON XAID

eXplainable AI Decisioning

XAID is Zayon's proprietary architecture for turning AI capabilities into governed institutional decisions.

Every Zayon decision system is built on it: model outputs become typed evidence, the institution's own policies determine the outcome, and governance controls define who can review, override or escalate — with a verifiable record of what was decided, why, under which policy, and what action followed.

Decisions are explained in natural language — but never made by a language model.

1

DECIDE

Purpose-built decision engines. Governed by your policy.
Zayon's decision engines are machine-learning models built for credit, risk, payments and compliance, and they turn data and contextual signals into scored, typed evidence. Your institution's policy turns that evidence into a clear outcome: allow, deny, condition or escalate. The result is consistent, deterministic and reproducible.

2

EXPLAIN

Every decision answers why.
Each decision shows which engine and model version produced the signal, the evidence it relied on and the policy it applied. The explanation is written in natural language, but the decision is never made by a language model.

3

GOVERN

Humans stay accountable.
You define who can review, override or escalate, and within what limits. Every engine version, policy change and override is recorded. You adjust the level of autonomy through policy, without re-engineering.

4

TRACE & MEASURE

From data to outcome, every step on record.
One decision ID links the data, the engine output, the policy version, the decision, the action and what it delivered. The record is tamper-evident and ready to hand to a regulator. It also lets you track engine performance, adoption and economic value, so you can see each trade-off clearly.

Intelligent signals. Deterministic decisions. Governed by design.

Decision intelligence for financial institutions.

Zayon applies its decision infrastructure wherever high-volume decisions carry real economic weight. Small improvements per decision, multiplied across thousands of decisions, mean lower losses, lower costs, higher revenue and better use of capital — with every decision controlled, compliant and auditable.

  • Can this financial action be authorized, executed and reconstructed without losing institutional control?

Zayon provides the decision and governance layer for agentic payments across financial networks, including delegated authority between humans and agents.

The institution defines the mandate. Zayon evaluates every transaction against it. The authorized custodian executes. Within the mandate, each decision is issued with a signed, verifiable proof. Outside it, the transaction is blocked or escalated. Zayon never holds keys or funds.

Autonomous financial action, with institutional control intact.

  • Should this agent access, initiate or execute this financial action?

Zayon enables AI agents to act within explicit institutional mandates by connecting consent, authority, policy, evidence and execution conditions across Pix and Open Finance.

Every request an agent makes, whether to read data, initiate a payment or execute a transaction, is evaluated before it happens. The action is allowed, conditioned on human confirmation, escalated or blocked, according to defined authority boundaries. Every action is traceable and reconstructible.

AI agents that act for your customers, within limits your institution defines.

  • Which structural changes, emerging vulnerabilities and patterns require supervisory attention?

Zayon supports supervisory decisions for regulators, cooperative systems and risk functions. It connects financial trajectories, structural changes, behavioral patterns and early signs of fragility into explainable evidence.

Each signal is prioritized against declared supervisory criteria, so decisions to monitor, escalate or open an examination rest on documented evidence. The final call is always made by an accountable supervisor, and every decision is on record.

Earlier attention. Documented judgment. Supervision that stands up to scrutiny.

  • Where, when and how should ATM infrastructure be allocated and operated?

Zayon supports ATM network decisions by connecting demand, utilization, availability, cost and projected outcomes. This covers where to install, relocate or retire terminals, how often to replenish cash, and when shared networks outperform proprietary ones.

Every recommendation makes the trade-off explicit: service availability against operating cost and idle cash. Decisions follow your institution's criteria, and each one is recorded with the evidence behind it and the result it delivered.

Less idle cash. Better coverage. Every allocation decision justified.

  • What decision creates the best economic outcome for the institution and the customer?

Zayon enriches financial assessment with behavioral and contextual intelligence. That evidence informs decisions on risk, eligibility, terms and exposure under your institution's credit policy.

Every decision is consistent across equivalent cases and explainable to the analyst, the customer and the regulator. Fairness is monitored continuously. Trade-offs between approval, risk and return are measured, not assumed.

Credit decisions you can defend, to your customers and to your regulator.

  • Which product or action is most relevant to this customer, in this context and at this moment?

Zayon identifies propensity and recommends the next best action, connecting customer intelligence to acceptance, relationship value and incremental revenue.

Every recommendation respects your institution's suitability, eligibility and contact rules before it reaches the customer. After it does, Zayon tracks whether it was adopted and measures the incremental impact it generated, not just the conversions that would have happened anyway.

The right offer, within the rules, with measured results.

  • What should the institution do given a company's current and projected financial condition?

Zayon detects emerging deterioration across your corporate portfolio, assesses current and projected financial condition, and prioritizes the right intervention for each case: review limits, strengthen collateral, restructure, monitor closely or escalate to recovery.

Each recommendation shows the financial evidence behind it and follows your institution's credit policy. Zayon also measures which interventions actually reduced losses, so the next decision is better informed than the last.

    Act before deterioration becomes loss.

AUTONOMY WITH BOUNDARIES

AI can act only within conditions the institution defines and enforces.

As AI systems move from recommending actions to executing them, autonomy requires more than technical capability. Each action needs a defined mandate: what the agent is authorized to do, under which conditions, based on what evidence, within which limits, and who is accountable for it.

Inside the mandate, the agent acts. Outside it, the action is blocked or escalated to a human.

XAID makes those boundaries part of the decision itself, and every action carries proof that it stayed within them.

The action conflicts with a policy, control or authority boundary, or the required evidence is missing. It cannot proceed, and the reason is recorded.

BLOCK

The action exceeds the agent's authority, reaches a defined threshold or requires human judgment.

ESCALATE

The action can proceed only once an additional requirement is met, such as human confirmation, step-up authentication or further evidence.

CONDITION

The action falls within the agent's authorized mandate, meets every condition for execution and is supported by sufficient evidence.

EXECUTE

Decisions should be observable from the moment they are made to the value they create.

XAID keeps every decision connected to what surrounds it: the evidence behind it, the policy and conditions under which it was made, and the action it triggered. On that foundation, Zayon follows what comes next: whether the decision was adopted, overridden or reversed, and the outcome it produced.

Over time, this becomes a living record of decision behavior. Institutions can trace any decision back to its origin, monitor performance and drift, and measure the value that can be attributed to each decision.

From what was decided, to what happened next, to what it was worth.

EVERY DECISION LEAVES A RECORD

A decision should not disappear after it is made.

Zayon creates a persistent, cryptographically signed record of every consequential decision. The record captures the decision and its outcome type, the policy version applied, the evidence used, the model version behind each signal, the accountable actor, any human intervention, and the action it triggered.

The record preserves the exact conditions under which the decision was made. It is tamper-evident and ready to present to auditors and regulators, providing a verifiable reference for review, accountability and reconstruction.

From the decision that was made to the proof of how it was made, each decision becomes a traceable institutional asset.

Explain the decision.
Reconstruct the decision.
Prove the decision.

ABOUT
ZAYON

Building the infrastructure behind trustworthy AI decisions.

Zayon builds Trustworthy AI Decision Infrastructure for high-stakes environments, starting with financial institutions. Founded in Brazil by specialists in economic engineering, AI and large-scale projects.

We connect AI to the decisions institutions are accountable for, so they can decide, explain, govern, trace and measure every consequential decision. Our engines work alongside the institution's own models, and policy always belongs to the institution.

The value is twofold. Better decisions at scale mean lower losses, lower costs and higher revenue. And every decision stays controlled and defensible before regulators, which is what takes AI from pilot to production.

As AI moves from recommending to acting, the decision itself must become an institutional asset. We don't promise AI that is always right. We make AI-driven decisions accountable.
